Exciting opportunity in San Jose, California! We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our high-volume distribution center. This role is vital to our logistics operations, requiring precision and speed in fulfilling customer orders. You'll be responsible for ensuring our products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment, making a direct impact on customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanning technology or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping carriers.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (like forklifts) and pallet jacks safely once certified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow all established safety protocols, including the proper wear of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and stock placement.
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse/logistics role is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions. Excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong work ethic are essential.
