We are seeking a skilled Material Handler for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin **Logistics** facility. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and managing materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading shipments, transporting goods, and ensuring inventory is properly stored. A strong emphasis on **Safety** and the correct use of **PPE** is essential. This position requires physical strength for **Lifting** and maneuvering materials, as well as experience with material handling equipment. You will play a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and **Safety** of our supply chain operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Load outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas.
- Perform regular checks on material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines and protocols.
- Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times.
- Participate in **Logistics** inventory counts.
- Handle **Lifting** requirements, including **Lifting** heavy items.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of **Logistics** and warehouse **Safety** procedures.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Must comply with all **PPE** requirements.
