Are you a skilled Reach Truck Operator looking for a new challenge in Richmond, Virginia? Our growing logistics company is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to operate reach trucks for various warehouse tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for moving and stacking products efficiently and safely within our distribution center. This includes receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping functions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with reach trucks and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will be expected to maintain high standards of productivity while ensuring the integrity of the goods handled. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to wear designated PPE. This position involves significant lifting of up to 50 lbs. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will be key to success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to transport and store materials.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of the reach truck.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues.
