Join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to support our growing Logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory, carefully packaging them for shipment, and preparing them for distribution. Your contribution is key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. A commitment to Safety and efficiency is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the identity and quantity of picked items to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to the overall tidiness of the warehouse.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist in conducting inventory checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a Picker/Packer or warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to perform repetitive Lifting tasks, up to 40 pounds. Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy are essential. Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices. Must be compliant with all PPE requirements. This position is critical for our Logistics chain and requires reliability and efficiency. Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
