Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, identifying, and retrieving specified items from inventory. A keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety are key to success in this position. Join a team that values hard work and precision in the fast-paced world of Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick tickets or utilize RF scanning technology to locate and retrieve products.
- Accurately select the correct items and quantities as specified on the order.
- Inspect items for damage before proceeding to the next step.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a tidy workspace and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all established Safety protocols, including the proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling aids safely and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory control through accurate picking and reporting of discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet performance targets.
- Uphold a positive attitude and contribute to a productive team environment.
- Report any issues with products or equipment to management promptly.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is desirable. Ability to handle continuous Lifting of items up to 45 pounds. Must be able to remain active and on your feet for the duration of the shift. High level of accuracy and attention to detail required. Familiarity with warehouse Safety standards. Compliance with all PPE guidelines is mandatory. This role is critical for our Logistics operations and demands reliability. Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and the capacity to work effectively in a busy environment.
