We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. The Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the receiving dock, verifying quantities against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies, and preparing goods for put-away. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this role. You will be working closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure a seamless flow of inventory into our facility. Upholding safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE, is a key requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy in quantity and item description.
