Our dynamic Miami, Florida logistics hub is seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety standards. You will manage a variety of tasks, from inventory control to coordinating shipments, playing a key part in our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they follow procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, implementing and enforcing Safety regulations.
- Implement and improve warehouse procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage warehouse supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and availability.
- Address any operational issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and report on key warehouse performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics .
- Experience with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of workplace Safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE , including safety vests, gloves, and eye protection.
- Ability to work flexible hours as operational needs dictate.
