We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution network. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and preparing shipments. Your contribution ensures that products are processed accurately and delivered on time to our customers. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, possess strong attention to detail, and prioritize safety in all aspects of their work. This position requires physical capability, including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a requirement. Our commitment to safety is paramount; all associates must use designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Comprehensive training will be provided on safe work practices, lifting techniques, and equipment operation. As a Distribution Center Associate, you play a key role in our logistics chain, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Assemble and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct stock counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear mandatory PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of logistics principles and commitment to safety protocols, including PPE usage.
