We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our busy facility in Richmond, Virginia. This is a hands-on role vital to the daily operations of our distribution center. You will be involved in various warehouse tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, organizing and retrieving stock from shelves, and preparing orders for shipment. Your role ensures the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for most of your shift, performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and lifting. The ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds is essential. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount. All employees must strictly adhere to safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Training on safe material handling techniques and equipment operation will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and put away incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stocking and organization.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and safe.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed (training provided).
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and PPE requirements.
