We are hiring efficient and reliable Order Pickers for our expansive logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring precision and timeliness in every step. This position requires physical stamina, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong dedication to Safety. You will be a key component of our distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse, confirming correct item, quantity, and condition.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and staging.
- Operate manual warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and general warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks as required.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE, including safety footwear and gloves.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an Order Picker role or similar warehouse position is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe working environment.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
