We are hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers for our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items according to customer orders and expertly packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our distribution operations. We emphasize a culture of Safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipping by labeling and staging them correctly.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and contribute to general warehouse upkeep.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate any discrepancies, damages, or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform frequent and repetitive physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE, such as safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
