We are looking for dedicated and energetic Warehouse Workers to join our fast-paced logistics facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in the daily operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately. This position involves a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment where teamwork and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and checks as required.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Contribute to team goals and objectives within the logistics department.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent and sometimes heavy Lifting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques.
- Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
- Comfortable wearing required PPE.
