We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our Phoenix, Arizona team! This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which directly impacts our logistics and supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing inventory data within our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and implementing procedures to optimize stock accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with warehouse operations and shipping teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overages. Upholding strict safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. While this role focuses on data and systems, it also involves some physical interaction with inventory, requiring the ability to perform lifting as needed for verification and organization. Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update inventory records in the WMS.
- Develop and refine inventory control procedures to improve accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce waste.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a well-organized inventory storage system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to perform lifting and material handling as required.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
