We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our busy warehouse located in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is essential for managing the incoming flow of goods, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized inventory. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying documentation, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately inputting data into our inventory system. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are vital for success in this role. Working within our logistics operations means prioritizing Safety at all times; adherence to established safety procedures and the mandatory use of PPE are critical. This role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Enter receiving information accurately into the warehouse management system.
- Organize and stage received products for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
