Division Manager - Air Distribution

The primary focus of the Division Manager - Air Distribution - is day-to-day sales and customer service. As a manager, they will develop, inspire and motivate their team. Divisional goals will be set each year, and the manager will ensure that all members of their team will work towards these goals.  The division works as one unit to service our customers and increase market share.

Offers a competitive compensation package. Salary range based on qualifications: $90, $110,

Bonus compensation may be provided in accordance with established company policies and guidelines.

• Collaborate with other division managers to strive towards growing and maintaining a   successful, high performing branch and reaching divisional goals.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to promote our Service First approach.
• Assist in developing strategies to grow business and expand market share.
• Attend manufacturer's factory/training visits to ensure up to date knowledge of product development within the division.
• Attend manufacturer's factory/training visits with contractors and Engineers to develop their knowledge of our products and services.   
• Contribute to and support the overall strategy when quoting projects.
• Maintain an understanding of our competitor's product offering and typical margins
• Develop and conduct training of outside sales representatives, project managers and estimators.
• Provide guidance to the sheet metal division with take-offs, pricing and tender preparation of projects.
• Visit job sites to ensure projects are progressing and provide application and installation support to the installing contractor.
• Oversee submittal drawing package preparation.
• Conduct regular project review meetings with the sheet metal division team. 
• Work with the Branch Manager and Regional Vice President to expand our product offering.  
• Prepare annual divisional budgets. 

• A minimum of 2 years' experience related to HVAC related mechanical equipment.
• A valid passport and ability to travel to the US for product training is required (for training if required).
• Professional Engineering Degree or a Diploma in Engineering Technology is an asset.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products. Knowledge of Bluebeam is a strong asset.
• Understanding of how to read & interpret construction drawings.
• Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
