  • What You'll Be Doing
    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including earth-moving, compact and aerial equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs. Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders.
  • Contribute to a professional and safe work environment by keeping the shop and yard clean, and following all company policies and procedures, and safety requirements.
  • What You'll Bring to the Team
    Qualifications and Requirements:  

  • Experience working on a variety of construction equipment. 
  • Valid Class G driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver's abstract upon request.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician License (421A or 310T) is an asset but not required.
  • Available and willing to work over-time as needed.  
  • Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
  • Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.   
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. 
  • Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
