WNW Maintenance - Technician 2026

Job Description: 

Wet'n'Wild Toronto is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Maintenance Technicians for the upcoming season. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the overall upkeep of our grounds, attractions, buildings, and equipment to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests. 

Responsibilities: 

1.    Ride and Attraction Maintenance:  

• Inspect and maintain rides and attractions to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components.
• Respond to any mechanical issues across the park not just involving rides but also Wet n' Wild Toronto facilities. 

2.    Record Keeping: 

• Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Document any issues discovered during inspections and report them to the supervisor. 

3.     Safety Standards:

• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant safety regulations and guidelines. 

4.     Groundskeeping:

• Keep the grounds clean and well-maintained, including walkways, landscaping, and public areas.
• Address any immediate cleanliness or safety concerns. 

5.     Minor Repairs: 

• Perform minor repairs on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure as needed.
• Report on major repair or maintenance issues to the Director of Maintenance. 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in maintenance, particularly in an amusement park or similar environment, is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols. 
• Must have steel-toe shoes.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. 

Work Environment:

This position requires occasional work in or around water, confined quarters, heights, loud environments, moving objects, and large crowds. A successful candidate will be able to work in all weather conditions, including vast temperatures and weather conditions.
