We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. A strong commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and safety is required. This is a physically demanding position that requires focus and teamwork to ensure our logistics operations run smoothly and meet customer demands.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against documentation.
- Stock received items accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and housekeeping duties.
- Contribute to the overall success of the logistics department through reliable performance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
