We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in our Provo, Utah facility. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Your role will involve accurately selecting products for customer orders, ensuring they are packed safely and efficiently for dispatch. This position is vital to our logistics chain, impacting our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers. You will be working with a dedicated team focused on productivity and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Verify the correctness of items and quantities picked against the order details.
- Package items carefully to ensure they arrive at their destination undamaged.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for courier pickup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within your assigned picking and packing stations.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Contribute to team efforts by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Understand and implement lean logistics principles to improve workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret order documents and RF scanner data.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to handle lifting tasks up to 35 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with general warehouse operations and logistics.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and work volumes.
- Must be reliable and punctual for scheduled shifts.
