Job Summary:
Fort Worth, Texas is home to our expanding logistics hub, and we're looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counts, stock adjustments, discrepancy investigation, and data entry. Your keen eye for detail and understanding of warehouse operations will be essential in minimizing stockouts and overstock situations. We value a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. This position requires regular lifting and a dedication to workplace safety. All necessary PPE will be provided to ensure your well-being.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Manage stock levels and identify reorder points to prevent stockouts.
  • Process stock adjustments and transfers within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with operations and shipping/receiving teams to maintain accurate inventory flow.
  • Train new staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Uphold safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE during all inventory-related activities.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
