Become a vital part of our fulfillment center as a Fulfillment Associate in Austin, Texas. This position is central to our e-commerce logistics, focusing on accurately processing and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will be involved in picking items, packing them securely, and ensuring all outgoing packages meet our quality standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. We foster a safety-first culture, emphasizing the correct use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols. The job involves consistent physical activity, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order fulfillment data.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of the overall logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or packing role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and scanning devices is a plus.
- Physical capability to handle tasks involving lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
