Job Summary:
Join our growing logistics network as a Material Handler in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. Your work directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and maintain inventory integrity. Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock inventory appropriately.
  • Accurately pick items for outgoing orders and pack them for safe transit.
  • Prepare shipments, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and requirements, including the diligent use of PPE.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  • Support the logistics team with various tasks to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling techniques and adherence to safety standards.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Capability to wear and use required PPE effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
