Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in Tampa, Florida! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support our warehouse operations. This multifaceted role includes tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will contribute to the efficient flow of goods through our facility, ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock shelves and storage areas efficiently, maintaining organization.
- Pick items from inventory based on customer orders using scanning equipment.
- Pack orders securely for safe transit, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including mandatory use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory control.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
