Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure mandatory use of all required PPE.
- Stack materials in designated areas, ensuring stability and organization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or Logistics environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to Safety and proficient use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
