Join our energetic team as a Material Handler in Seattle, Washington! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our warehouse operations by moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for receiving incoming goods, verifying shipments, and preparing materials for distribution. Key responsibilities include using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to move materials. A strong emphasis is placed on warehouse safety and the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and a keen eye for detail are essential. This position requires the ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including significant lifting and moving of heavy items. Experience with warehouse inventory systems is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. We are committed to fostering a productive and secure workplace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through careful handling and counting.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Support the picking and packing process as needed.
- Perform duties that involve heavy lifting and repetitive motion.
- Utilize PPE as required by company policy.
