We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers for our growing fulfillment center in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and then carefully packing them for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The job involves significant standing, walking, and occasional lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Ensuring a safe work environment is our top priority, and all employees must strictly follow safety procedures and wear provided PPE . Familiarity with RF scanners and basic knowledge of warehouse logistics are advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify picked items for accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and general warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations, wearing required PPE .
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for moving merchandise.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts.
