Join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri, as a skilled Forklift Operator! We are looking for certified and experienced individuals to safely and efficiently operate forklifts for material handling within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is crucial, along with adhering to all warehouse safety protocols. You will perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Experience with various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) is highly desirable. A strong commitment to safety is non-negotiable, and you must consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures to prevent accidents. This role requires excellent spatial awareness, precision, and the ability to handle materials safely. Occasional lifting may be required for items not moved by forklift, up to 40 pounds.
