Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, including generating labels and documentation.
- Verify order accuracy, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected and packaged.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized and accurate shipping logs and inventory records.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding shipment status and any issues.
- Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies before dispatch.
- Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate shipping equipment and office machinery effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework are a plus.
- Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with common shipping software and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures and carrier requirements.
- Ability to perform tasks involving light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Dedication to workplace safety and understanding of PPE requirements.
