We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility. This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be a key player in our logistics process, contributing directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses the physical stamina required for warehouse work.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including applying labels and completing necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and tape machines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and shipping procedures.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
- A strong focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
