We are searching for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, are conducted efficiently and accurately.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing measures to maintain optimal stock.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in our logistics chain.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular safety audits and provide ongoing training on the use of PPE.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within logistics.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices, including the correct use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and performing related lifting tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with logistics planning and optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
