Marketing Data Analyst
Logix Guru, LLC, headquartered in Murrysville, PA, seeks a Marketing Data Analyst to work in unanticipated locations throughout the United States within the Eastern Standard Time zone with the ability to work-from-home within commuting distance of the unanticipated worksite(s), depending on project needs. The Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for developing data-driven solutions to support business processes. Specific duties will include: (i) business intelligence & reporting; developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI, SQL, DAX, Tableau, and Excel VBA; (ii) data analysis & modeling; applying regression analysis (linear, logistic, multi-regression), K-means clustering, PCA, and factor analysis to extract insights from complex datasets; (iii) data integration & automation; utilizing Power Automate, Access DB, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Apache Airflow for ETL processes and workflow automation; (iv) forecasting & predictive analytics; implementing machine learning models using Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) and R (ggplot, RStudio) to support business forecasting; (v) data management & quality; monitoring data integrity, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring consistency across systems, including SQL Server, Access DB, and data warehouses; (vi) user support & documentation; creating training materials, user guides, and deliver hands-on training sessions to enhance data literacy and adoption of business intelligence tools; and (vii) process optimization; leveraging Advanced Power Query, PowerApps, and HTML for improved workflow efficiency and automation.
This position is for a roving employee who will work in unanticipated locations throughout the United States within the Eastern Standard Time zone. The employee will have to relocate, but travel is not required from any particular location. This is also a hybrid worksite/work-from-home position, where the employee may work-from-home (with appropriate telecommuting systems) within commuting distance of the unanticipated worksite(s), depending on project needs.
Must have a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in business data analytics, forecasting, and machine learning.
The two (2) years of experience must include: conducting statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and forecasting; workload tracking and performance analysis; and identifying trends and optimizing project execution.
Must know (from any completed university-level courses, seminars, workshops, or real-world hands-on experience): Power BI and Tableau; SQL Server, SSIS, and Apache Airflow; Power Automate and VBA; Python and R; ETL, data integration, and process automation; Automate reporting; and data processing and visualization. Relocation required within eastern standard time zone.
