We are seeking enthusiastic, career minded, and self-motivated individuals to fill the position of Outside Sales Representative for our Sacramento, California office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships face to face, managing a sales territory, and working directly with customers at their place of business. The right candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, confidence in presenting and closing sales, and the ability to manage their time and territory effectively. A mechanical mindset is a strong advantage, as we sell woodworking machinery, and comfort with computer based systems such as CRM tools is important. Prior sales experience in capital equipment, industrial sales, or the woodworking industry is welcomed, but we are willing to mentor motivated candidates with transferable sales skills. This role involves regular travel within the assigned territory and occasional travel to trade shows across the United States. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships within your assigned sales territory. You will work directly with business owners and private individuals, consulting with them to select the best machines, tools, and accessories for their woodworking needs. You will conduct on site customer visits, product demonstrations, and follow up meetings, while also coordinating with the inside sales and support teams. New hires will be introduced to our product line through a structured progression, starting with simpler equipment and advancing to more complex machinery, including CNC controlled systems. You will generate leads, schedule appointments, prepare and present quotes, and represent the company at trade shows and industry events. While this is primarily a field based role, you will maintain close communication with the Sacramento office and support staff.
