Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer (Snowflake) to lead the design, optimization, and governance of enterprise-scale data platforms within the Investment / Financial Services domain.
Architectural Leadership: Direct the design and implementation of scalable ELT pipelines leveraging Snowflake's cloud-native architecture and dbt for modular, version-controlled transformations. Architect robust, high-performance data models aligned with business requirements.
Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce gold-standard engineering practices for dbt development, automated testing, and Snowflake RBAC. Ensure strong data integrity, security, compliance, and audit readiness across the platform.
Performance & Cost Optimization: Optimize Snowflake warehouse configurations, workload management, and query performance. Balance high-speed data delivery with cost-efficient credit utilization through proactive monitoring and tuning.
Pipeline Orchestration & CI/CD: Manage CI/CD workflows and oversee pipeline orchestration to ensure reliable, automated deployment of production-ready data assets. Drive DevOps best practices within the data engineering lifecycle.
Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor engineering teams, promote technical excellence, and collaborate closely with analytics, business, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-impact data solutions.
