Job Description: Join our dynamic Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Hardware team as a Lead Security Analyst. We are seeking a passionate hardware and firmware security expert to enhance our organizational Security Assurance program. This is an exceptional opportunity to conduct technical security reviews while engaging in code-level security practices to ensure our products and services meet the highest security standards. The OCI Hardware Development team is dedicated to offering state-of-the-art AI, GPUs, and components for Oracle's cloud platform, driving unmatched performance and top-tier security. Job Summary: In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Chief Security Architect to effectively manage OCI Release Management, Oracle's Hardware Security Assurance standards, and the security vendor intake program. You will play an essential role in identifying and addressing hardware and firmware security vulnerabilities, guiding them from triage to customer communication, while leading innovative security projects. Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze vendor advisories for vulnerabilities related to hardware and firmware. Conduct risk analysis and threat modeling to evaluate the potential impact of vulnerabilities on Oracle products. Oversee the mitigation process of vulnerabilities across various teams. Communicate risks and planned actions to stakeholders, including leadership and customers. Utilize Python to enhance internal tool operations for vulnerability management. Assist engineering teams in planning security reviews for hardware and firmware set for deployment. Execute and document security reviews for hardware and software, tracking progress and improvements effectively. Act as a technical resource for third-party partners concerning Oracle's security requirements. Develop necessary tools to streamline security processes. Engage in code-level assessment opportunities with the Core Firmware Engineering team. Participate in architectural risk analysis and threat assessments. Required Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or security. Proficient in security analysis and audits. Deep understanding of secure firmware/software development lifecycle. A proactive problem-solver with robust strategic thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in analyzing and communicating hardware security vulnerabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of modern server platform hardware & firmware design. Programming skills in C/C++, Linux Programming, Bash, Python, and Java. Disclaimer: Certain customer-facing roles may require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates. The salary range for this position is $96,800 to $223,400 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
