Job Category Technology Compensation Overview The annual salary range for this position is a nationwide market range, which reflects the variety of salaries across the country for this role. Your actual salary will depend on factors like the role’s complexity, your skills and experience, and other employment conditions. Additionally, employees can benefit from performance-based cash incentives as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program. Salary Range $109,300.00 - $180,200.00 What Is the Opportunity? Our Data Engineering team is critical in developing pipelines that enhance data accessibility throughout the enterprise. As a Data Engineer, you will significantly contribute to evolving our analytics capabilities. Your analytical mindset, curiosity, and ability to derive insights from data will be crucial as you design, build, and implement data solutions to support AI, Machine Learning, and business intelligence. What Will You Do? Build and operationalize complex data solutions, troubleshoot issues, apply transformations, and recommend data quality strategies. Design effective data solutions. Analyze data sources to assess value and recommend inclusion in analytical processes. Implement data management best practices, including governance, security, and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data product delivery and educate end-users about the analytics environment. Conduct analysis, assessment, and resolution of defects and incidents with moderate complexity. Test data movement and transformation logic. Perform additional duties as needed. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience. Six years of relevant experience. Proficient in utilizing tools and techniques related to cloud platforms, programming languages, and data engineering practices. Experience with ETL development in data lakes and warehouses, preferably with Snowflake. Hands-on experience building data pipelines and reusable components using AWS, PySpark, and Snowflake within the past two years. Exposure to Databricks Unity Catalog and UniForm is a plus. The ability to efficiently deliver work while breaking down assignments into manageable tasks. Demonstrated technical expertise and understanding of relevant systems. Strong problem-solving capabilities and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and business partners. Intermediate leadership skills and self-motivation to seek personal development opportunities. What is a Must Have? Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience. 2 additional years of software/data engineering experience. What Is in It for You?
