Responsibilities: Utilize cutting-edge AI infrastructure and hardware acceleration techniques to develop and optimize intelligent ML systems that elevate Meta's offerings.
Set impactful goals related to project outcomes, AI system architecture, and improved infrastructure/developer efficiency.
Conduct deep, data-driven analysis to influence partners and maximize impact.
Lead large-scale initiatives across multiple teams to drive innovation.
Define use cases and create methodology and benchmarks for evaluating various approaches.
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the interaction between ML infrastructure and surrounding systems.
Mentor fellow engineers and research scientists to enhance the overall quality of engineering across the team.
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you should possess: Specialized experience in machine learning/deep learning, including but not limited to hardware accelerator architecture, GPU architecture, machine learning compilers, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, performance optimization, or frameworks such as PyTorch, with a focus on software/hardware co-design.
Proficiency in developing AI system infrastructure or AI algorithms using C/C++ or Python.
Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following would be advantageous: Experience with distributed systems or developing on-device algorithms.
Knowledge of recommendation and ranking models.
Demonstrated technical leadership.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in AI framework development; or a Master's degree with 4+ years; or a PhD with 3+ years in a similar capacity.
Public Compensation: $74.04/hour to $217,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
