As a Senior Architect, you will collaborate closely with Oracle Sales, OCI product teams, and various departments to develop cloud architectures that effectively meet customer needs and encourage the adoption of OCI services. You will experiment with our platform, formulate deployment strategies, and establish best practices for tailored application solutions for our customers. We are seeking a candidate with a comprehensive understanding of large-scale networking solutions, a commitment to maintaining technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring others in a fast-paced industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of cloud computing and drive its adoption among enterprise and web-scale clients. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of experience in network design and consulting within software or infrastructure. 5+ years in customer-facing roles, demonstrating a proven ability to build trust and collaborate across teams. Expert knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on experience with networking technologies such as BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and Layer 2. Understanding of WAN connectivity options, including MPLS L3VPN, EoMPLS, and more. Familiarity with IPSec VPNs, Load Balancers, DNS, NAT, WAF, and CDN solutions. Experience with firewall products like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of producing technical documentation for diverse audiences. A BS/MS or an advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Ability to research, evaluate, and document new technologies. Expertise in performance enhancements for complex network architectures. Familiarity with enterprise solutions from Oracle, Microsoft, and VMware. Networking certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE are advantageous. Knowledge of Linux and network monitoring tools. Experience with automation frameworks or programming languages such as Terraform or Python. Responsibilities Engage in architectural discussions with customers, partners, and pre-sales teams to devise cloud deployment solutions. Share best practices and cultivate strong relationships with technical professionals at customer organizations. Provide hands-on support and mentorship to junior engineers. Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to ensure optimal performance. Create and contribute to customer-facing resources, including whitepapers and training materials.
