Lead Business Intelligence Developer
with 3-5 years of experience in delivering Business Intelligence projects. This role is crucial for driving innovative solutions that enhance decision-making capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive business intelligence solutions that address both immediate and strategic needs, encompassing traditional reporting and innovative, interactive analytics. Lead and coordinate BI projects, collaborating effectively with team members of varying expertise and backgrounds. Engage directly with business leaders to deeply understand their requirements, timelines, and core objectives. Communicate project updates and insights with stakeholders, including executives, ensuring alignment and clarity. Collaborate with project managers and development teams to effectively integrate analytical solutions with custom applications. Apply Kimball's methodology for developing data models that support static and interactive reporting as well as self-service analytics. Utilize your advanced SQL development skills, alongside SSRS, SSAS Tabular Models, and Power BI, to create impactful BI solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate team members, fostering their professional growth in BI development. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or 3-5 years of equivalent IT experience. Deep expertise in dimensional data modeling techniques. Exceptional SQL development abilities. Experience in building tabular models for SSAS. Strong knowledge of reporting tools including SSRS and Power BI. Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for Power BI. Proven experience in leading BI projects from inception through delivery. Demonstrated ability to interact with senior business leaders to gather and define requirements. A proactive self-starter who independently manages tasks while actively seeking collaboration opportunities. Ability to juggle multiple projects at varying completion stages. Experience mentoring colleagues in the business intelligence domain.
