Job Summary SHI is searching for a visionary and skilled Solutions Architect to lead the architecture and evolution of our eCommerce platform. This crucial role is tailored for individuals with extensive experience in designing, scaling, and optimizing advanced eCommerce systems. You will shape architectural vision, drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and collaborate across departments to ensure our eCommerce platform remains robust, scalable, secure, and open to innovation. Role Description Architect & Design:
Lead the architecture of SHI's eCommerce platform, ensuring it aligns with business goals while maintaining scalability and offering an exceptional customer experience. Technical Leadership:
Champion and uphold engineering standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices, raising the bar for code cleanliness and maintainability. eCommerce Expertise:
Utilize your knowledge of eCommerce functionalities to guide system design and modernization efforts. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, security, DevOps, and business stakeholders to convert business needs into technical strategies. Mentorship & Influence:
Mentor engineers and architects across teams, facilitating technical discussions and fostering architectural thinking. Strategy & Road Mapping:
Continuously refine the architectural roadmap for the eCommerce platform, balancing innovation and feature delivery. Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement new technologies and practices to enhance platform quality and operational agility. Documentation & Communication:
Maintain high-quality architecture documentation and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. DevOps & Cloud-Native:
Promote cloud adoption, CI/CD practices, and ensure platform reliability and cost-effectiveness. Engage in code and design reviews to support team adherence to standards. Contribute to design decisions and establish technical standards for development. Lead software design processes based on requirements from various stakeholders. Collaborate with teams and end-users to analyze application requirements. Design, develop, implement, and deploy software solutions focused on Cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, designing and releasing fixes as necessary. Propose continuous enhancements to the Software Development Life Cycle and DevOps processes. Lead the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and architecture diagrams. Foster a high-performance development environment to improve team efficiency. Intermediate understanding of web application functionality and security practices. Intermediate ability to design and integrate APIs for seamless application communication. Intermediate expertise in database design and maintenance. Intermediate capacity to implement DevOps practices. Intermediate knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Other Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required. 5+ years of software development experience. 5+ years of experience with DevOps methodologies. 5+ years of experience in C#, React, JavaScript, SQL. Ability to travel up to 10%. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000, inclusive of base salary and bonuses. Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
