Job Description Join Oracle's Global Information Technology team as a pivotal member of the Network Services group. You will play a key role in managing and delivering essential network infrastructure services to Oracle's global businesses, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities - Maintain detailed records of equipment failures, collaborating with engineers and suppliers as necessary. - Escalate client issues according to established procedures for swift resolution. - Utilize network management tools to analyze and enhance network performance, ensuring sufficient bandwidth to meet business needs. - Proactively recommend improvements to network infrastructure and management tools with management approval. - Troubleshoot network issues across campus, remote locations, and country-wide networks until resolved. - Engage in Project Engineering, encompassing specification definition, compliance design, implementation, and testing through to production. - Respond promptly to alarm notifications to identify outage causes and coordinate timely corrective actions. - Provide on-call support and assist team members as required. Required Skills & Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in a network engineering role within production environments. Strong grasp of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and security. Experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. Proficiency with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible) to enhance efficiency and reliability. Demonstrated capability in automating repetitive network tasks to reduce manual workload and enhance reliability. Familiarity with cloud networking, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with acceptable experience in others like AWS. Experience with hybrid on-premises and cloud network architectures. Hands-on management of VPN solutions, including site-to-site and secure remote user access. Experience with load balancing technologies such as F5 or cloud-native solutions. Practical experience with firewall platforms, including Palo Alto Networks, focusing on rule configuration and troubleshooting. Adept at creating and maintaining clear technical documentation, including diagrams and operational procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Compensation and Benefits: Oracle offers a competitive salary range from $33.94 to $67.88 per hour; equating to an annual salary from $70,600 to $141,200. Eligible for equity options.
