The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join their team as Border Patrol Agents. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in protecting America's borders and enforcing our nation's laws.

As a Border Patrol Agent, your primary responsibility will be to conduct patrols along the international border and coastal waterways. You will be responsible for detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders.

• You must possess one year of general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations;


• You have learned regulations through classroom training;


• Your education has given you an opportunity to learn how to use discretion when dealing with emergencies like inspections by law enforcement officers;
