Protective Borders Professional

Becoming a Border Patrol Agent is a unique opportunity to work with a skilled and dedicated team of law enforcement professionals. Our officers are responsible for protecting the nation's borders from potential threats, while also ensuring the safety of those who live and work along these areas.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
• Inspect documents and possessions to verify citizenship or identify violations
• Prevent undocumented non-citizens and smugglers from entering the country through surveillance efforts at border locations

To be eligible for this position, you must possess one year of general experience in taking charge, making sound decisions under pressure, learning regulations and methods through training or instruction, gathering information through observation and examination.

This can be achieved by holding a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement (GPA 3.0+), graduating honor society member status OR possessing relevant graduate-level education.
