Border Security Specialist

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of our workforce that strives to protect American people by safeguarding borders and preventing illicit activity. This valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement profession plays a key role in enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws involves inspecting documents, possessions, and determining citizenship violations. It also includes preventing aliens from entering the country illegally and apprehending smugglers who facilitate this activity.
• This position requires patrolling international boundaries, coastal waterways, using government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles. The agent must interpret physical evidence at crime scenes related to illegal entry into the country.
