Experienced Border Protection Specialist

Border patrol work requires a strong sense of community and the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations. As a border patrol agent, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders.

We are seeking experienced individuals who possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This includes performing physical searches of detained individuals and their vehicles for weapons and contraband. You will also have authority granted by your state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes.

As a state or federal law enforcement official, you must utilize intelligence information effectively and lead complex investigations into fraud and criminal activity. Your role as an apprehension officer will require you to analyze rapidly gathered information and develop strategies for apprehending violators while maintaining situational awareness through communication equipment.
