US Border Enforcement Specialist

Job Title:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of immigration law violations.
• Maintaining border security by utilizing night vision equipment to prevent undocumented entry.

This position requires public safety experience, military police or law enforcement background to qualify for the GL5/7 grade level. It involves working with an elite team of professionals who share a sense of purpose and camaraderie. The daily responsibilities include detecting, analyzing information, making arrests, exercising sound judgment while handling firearms in a courteous manner. This role also entails enforcing matters preventing the apprehension of undocumented smugglers by inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status violations. Typical assignments involve patrolling international boundaries via various means including vehicles, horses, vessels off-road ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles accomplishing the USBP Mission
