Border Security Professional

The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join its team as a Border Security Professional . As a member of this elite group, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders and upholding the laws that protect our citizens.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
• Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
• Fulfilling farm checks, building checks, traffic checks city patrols transportation checks within your assigned territory.    Perform multiple duties such as patrolling coastal waterways utilizing boats cars horses vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles.,§
