Border Protection Specialist

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is recruiting entry-level agents to make a daily difference in safeguarding the nation.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws; inspect documents and possessions to verify citizenship or violations; prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens;

Key qualifications include prior experience in public safety, security, military police or law enforcement demonstrating leadership skills; one year of general work experience with ability to learn regulations through classroom training OR bachelor’s degree OR combination of education/experience leading to GL-5/7 grade level.
