U.S. Border Patrol Officer

The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as officers responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders.

This role involves a range of duties including detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the border, interpreting physical evidence, performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks patrolling international boundaries using various government assets such as vehicles horses vessels watercraft ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles track cycles radar equipment etc.

• One (1) year general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge make sound decisions maintain composure in stressful situations learn regulations methods techniques through classroom training instruction gather concise information questioning observation examination documents records OR


• Bachelor degree successful completion full four-year course study any field leading bachelor degree from accredited college university OR Combination experience education General work experience AND successfully completed college education calculated resume official unofficial transcripts submitted application
