We are seeking an experienced *Senior IT Project Manager* for a 12-month contract engagement (with potential for extension). This is a fully remote position with a preference for East Coast-based candidates and minimal travel required (~5%).

* *Location:* Remote (East Coast preferred)
* *Hours:* 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional after-hours as project needs dictate
* *Start Date:* March 2, 2026
* *Hourly Rate:* $55-60/Hour
* *Duration:* 12 months, with possibility of extension
*About the Role*
You will lead complex technology projects from initiation through closing, managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in point-of-sale systems, technology integrations, and large-scale IT deployments.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
* Lead project execution across planning, delivery, and formal closeout
* Manage stakeholder communications, governance interactions, and status reporting
* Oversee supplier relationships and coordinate cross-functional team activities
* Track KPIs and provide regular updates to portfolio leadership
*Required Qualifications*
* 7+ years of IT project management experience
* 7+ years working across Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
* Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships, scope, and project financials
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, preferably in food service environments
* Background in technology integration projects (COTS, POS, payment/card solutions, SaaS)
* Experience with IT infrastructure, deployments, rollouts, and business process redesign
* Exposure to projects spanning multiple business functions (Sales, Operations, HR, Marketing)
* International project experience a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
