We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring smooth workflow
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene compliance
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to meet customer expectations
- Train new staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure adherence to all health regulations and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen space
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with restaurant management operations including inventory control and menu development
- Exceptional skills in food industry practices, kitchen experience, and serving techniques
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
